About this product

Product Information

Taking place within a post-apocalyptic wasteland called Hell County, RoadKill has players completing deadly missions amidst the watchful eye of rival gangs, guards, and gun-toting civilians. Formerly known as "Highway to Hell," the game features a total of 30 missions spread across the following three cities: Blister Canyon, Lava Falls, and Paradise City. As players drive their vehicles across the lawless land, they'll be able to listen to radio updates offering mission tips, the latest bounty information, and a blend of rock, rap, and heavy metal music. Each vehicle also comes equipped with an arsenal of weapons, ranging from machine guns to grenade launchers.

Cast in the role of a loner mercenary, players must win the trust of certain gang members, battle rival gangs to the death, collect salvage parts to upgrade vehicles, and explore the terrain to locate hidden blueprints. A total of 30 vehicles are available, each offering custom weapons and upgradeable parts like armor plating and nitrous boosts. The city is also teeming with pedestrians -- some innocent, some militant -- who can be run over at any time in the spirit of the game's title. Vehicular homicides may result in widespread rioting, however, which could result in pockets of resistance within city areas. After players get a taste of the single-player missions, they can challenge up to three other friends for simultaneous deathmatching on a split-screen.

Good seller. Fast shipping! Could not see damage on disc in photos, but it did work as the description said it would. Downloaded to my hard drive no problem. Back up and playing at a very fair market price! Thank you!

Game was listed at a very fair price and arrived pretty quick. My girlfriend loves Mario party 3 and has been having a great time playing since it arrived. We bought the same game from another seller and it was defective, unfortunately it was a reproduction. I would highly recommend buying from this seller though.

  • Best you can do on the Gamecube

I would have to say this is the most "mature" game the kid targeted Gamecube has. Second would have to be Gun. In gun you can dismember people and have mini missons like "Save the Prostitute". In Roadkill you can impale them on your car and drag thier body flopping like a ragdoll as they curse you with thier dying breaths. Plus the game keeps count of how many you kill of which pedestrian. I havent mentioned teh game because I have yet to get into the story. Just time killing mayhem. Like I said this is the best of the worst that Gamecube can do.

  • Somewhat reminiscent of the old Interstate 76 game!

I wasn't sure what to expect from this game when I purchased it. What I discovered was that it was fun to play! You have the ability to drive around almost anywhere and it has a slightly similar game play to some of the Grand Theft Auto games. For instance, you need to go drive to the garage to save your game. Also, another similarity is that you can run over people and things as much or as little as you like! In "Roadkill" you can not leave your vehicle like you can in GTA, but the cars do get damaged more and more as you run into people/things which is great. Who wants to keep smashing into things and not have realistic damage occur to your vehicle! :-) Also, like in GTA, you can get your car repaired. This is definitely a fun game and has missions to play, but it does not require you ...

  • Roadkill

Best adult game on GameCube, only other game that has close to this amount of violence is gun

  • I Really Hoped it Would Be Like Twisted Metal :-(

Pro's: None. I guess the picture on the game case makes it look like fun. Con's: Well, I really was hoping GameCube would have a great vehicle combat game. I hoped this was it. It's not. Horible play control. Horrible weapons. Bad graphics. Bad music. Boring. Little action / excitement. No in-game charisma to draw the player to want to keep playing. I don't want to spend too much time writing a review for a game this bad. Trust me, stay away from this one, don't buy it. Maybe rent it so you can experience what NOT to purchase.

  • Great

    Awesome underrated game
