    No one better than Carl

    Yes, I know . . . a book written for children. But, I just couldn't resist. I absolutely love ANY book written by Carl Hiaasen and have read every one of them! I so needed a Carl Hiaasen 'fix' waiting for his new book to come out that I ordered all three of his books written for children. I knew that they would be mild in 'language', but his 'adult' books are not offensive in the language department, so what the heck. Carl Hiaasen's descriptive, spellbinding books are mesmerizing reading for everyone, but if you by chance live in the Great State of Florida, as I do . . . you will LOVE ALL his books. When you read just one, you will be hooked. I just wish he was more prolific in authoring more books.

    Nature Lovers Delight

    My daughter loves all the Hiaasen books and this one is no exception. It's so clever and she likes to have the hardback copies in case she decides to become a teacher and use it as a read aloud in class. She's a 6th grader and enjoyed Hoot, and Scat as well.

    Great Book for pre-tens

    My twelve year old twins love these books. They read them then share them with their friends. After each one reads them they put their initials in front cover. It helps on the cost when I can find the books they need on e-bay.

    Flush- for AP Env. Science

    I perchased this book for my AP Env. Science class. I am the teacher and like to provide supplemental reading material. I had a hard time getting into the book but my husband read it in 2 days and said it would be perfect.
