    I bought this book a few years ago, having been a fan of Vic Morrow and a fan of COMBAT!, the TV show that ran for five years on ABC that dealt with the drama and action of aa squad of infantrymen in WWII as they fought Germans and dealt with the human aspects of war. Morrow had a difficult time getting parts in movies and TV after being typecast as "Sgt. Chip Saunders," and was reported to have been extremely grateful to the director of the movie version of the Twilight Zone for giving him a substantial part in a new episode in the film. But the director, as shown in this book, took too many risky chances without enough safety measures in place while shooting a particularly dangerous scene involving a helicopter, and the chopper got too close and disaster struck; killing Morrow ...
