Master Higgins returns for more platform-hopping hijinks in this Adventure Island sequel. The cap-clad, pudgy protagonist vows revenge on a wizard after he turns Higgins' girlfriend, Jeannie Jungle, to stone. While Higgins isn't fleet of foot, the shirtless star can find a skateboard to help him quickly traverse the exotic areas of Waku-Waku. Weapons such as boomerangs and stone hammers can be thrown high or low to defeat enemies, which include tribal warriors, reptiles, penguins, and walruses. Journey inside the belly of a whale, hitch a ride in a runaway mine cart, and perform other heroics through five rounds spanning 15 side-scrolling levels.

I just got this game after about 10 years of not playing it. I searched for a long time to find the name of this, what game I had in mind. Well I got it and remembered a few things: It's arcade style, no game saves, 2 continues and points racking up. This game is very fun, it's challenging but not too hard. The bad guys and backdrops are great, the music is fun, sort of 80's but not too bad., Overall great game, lots of fun hours to play in this one.I just got this game after about 10 years of not playing it. Super Adventure Island One of the Best
I don't know which Adventure Island game is the best one, but I always have great memories of playing this game. I love the graphics, music, and boss fights. The game is a little short, but finding the secret levels adds to the replay. Like I said the music in this game is amazing. I love the underwater music. I don't think any other game I've ever played has the same style. My only complaint about this game is that it would have been awesome if they put in the dinosaur riders from the NES games.I don't know which Adventure Island game is the best one, but I always have great memories of playing this game.
