    Extremely well worth it.

    As with all the 'Dummies' books I have used this is very easy to get my head round. I bought a laptop with Windows 8 on it and have had difficulty adapting from earlier Windows versions, and this is a great help in learning 8.1. I had some trouble getting the DVD to play in the first instance but have now got it working and it is very easy to use aqnd helpful.

    easy to use and understand

    This is one book that any one buying a new computer that has got windows 8.1 on it must have it tells you in an easy to understand way what 8.1 is all about and guides you through just about everything in plain english.

    I couldn't have got on with 8.1 without it.

    I'm a total technophobe and whilst this book won't teach you all about windows 8.1, it will tell you how to do specific jobs in clear and precise form. Easy to use and a great addition which is invaulable to anyone who is nervous. Excellent book, and the dvd and is brilliant as well. I use it constantly.

    Now enjoying my new computer thanks to this book

    This book is great and so easy to follow even for a older supposedly according to my daughter techno phobic lady .Found the dvd very helpful too .Amazingly nearly £10 cheaper than in the high street too .
