Straightforward purchase - thank you. Haven't started this box yet but presume that it's as effective as the prior one. I wish the manufacturer had continued to sell these in the 1g sachets (the perfect size for the small amount of box in my garden) but they now only do 3g so I do my best to measure out one third of each sachet and try to keep the rest airtight/watertight until the next use.

This year WOW amazing amount of new growth appeared but also so did the caterpillars! Applied the powder again with the pump up spray, within 24hr. They were all dead. Great product but keep an eye out for their return!

Well packaged, dispatched and delivered promptly, which is highly appreciated given the nature of this particular product, because as soon as symptoms start, it becomes a race against time to apply treatment before those hungry little caterpillars reduce the entire hedge to bare twigs! I can confirm, this stuff really works, and has totally saved my box hedging (thank you!!), meanwhile my friends and neighbours have all sadly lost theirs.

XENTARI really works to control Boxwood Caterpillar/moth.
Box caterpillar has only been around for a few years but is damaging and killing so many box throughout the south.Probably imported into the country through some dodgy plants it needs controlling NOW to stop it getting a hold .Two types of box disease mould and attack by moth/caterpillar are prevailent.It was only when I saw die back in the beautiful box hedges in my garden that I was spurred into action.Most 'experts' seem resigned to the destruction of plants and suggest digging up and burning.Then I came across XENTARI ,supposedly safe for pets and birds and wildlife so gave it a go .After cutting out worst of the dead sections and picking off and destroying as many of the caterpillars I could see (there's one to every little dead webbed cluster of leaves.I sprayed the plants as ... I have used this product in the past with limited success. Repeated applications are required to control box moth and this year it has returned again (I live in the SE of England). I shall attempt to control it again but if the infestation continues I shall be forced to remove all the box hedging in my garden.

Easy to use and seems to be effective. The powder in the sachets readily disperses in water and is therefore easy to spray on the plants. Having sprayed my box plants when the product arrived two weeks ago I've not seen any new caterpillars, whilst my neighbour's bushes have been attacked again. Until now we've both been using 'Bug Clear' but it seems to have been only partially effective and have also been clearing by hand so I thought I would try this new product. It seems a little pricy but you get 15 sachets, enough for 15 litres of spray. So far I've used two sachets. I'll spray again in a few weeks time and again in the early autumn as recommended.Easy to use and seems to be effective.
