XENTARI really works to control Boxwood Caterpillar/moth.
Box caterpillar has only been around for a few years but is damaging and killing so many box throughout the south.Probably imported into the country through some dodgy plants it needs controlling NOW to stop it getting a hold .Two types of box disease mould and attack by moth/caterpillar are prevailent.It was only when I saw die back in the beautiful box hedges in my garden that I was spurred into action.Most 'experts' seem resigned to the destruction of plants and suggest digging up and burning.Then I came across XENTARI ,supposedly safe for pets and birds and wildlife so gave it a go .After cutting out worst of the dead sections and picking off and destroying as many of the caterpillars I could see (there's one to every little dead webbed cluster of leaves.I sprayed the plants as ... Easy to use and seems to be effective. The powder in the sachets readily disperses in water and is therefore easy to spray on the plants. Having sprayed my box plants when the product arrived two weeks ago I've not seen any new caterpillars, whilst my neighbour's bushes have been attacked again. Until now we've both been using 'Bug Clear' but it seems to have been only partially effective and have also been clearing by hand so I thought I would try this new product. It seems a little pricy but you get 15 sachets, enough for 15 litres of spray. So far I've used two sachets. I'll spray again in a few weeks time and again in the early autumn as recommended.Easy to use and seems to be effective. Easy product to use
Sachet size is perfect to spray my 8 buxus plants who all had the caterpillars on them. Would have given 5 stars but really hoping that my plants will eventually revive caterpillars died within a couple of days.

I’ve been using this for a couple of years now, I use it between March and October. In my area nearly all box bushes have been destroyed. Mine look fine, even some regrowth from a caterpillar attack pre treatment a few years ago. If you are lucky enough to have any box, or are thinking of getting some I would recommend getting some of this product as well.

Works well
This is an organic powder which when mixed with water and sprayed on brassicas kills any caterpillars that munch on the leaves. It is expensive to buy but if applied regularly every couple of weeks stops the wholesale destruction of the plants. You can buy a lot of cabbages with the money this product costs but if your aim is top quality home grown organic veg like me I can highly recommend
