    Not good for GCSE and boring

    Not a good movie. Bought it as my daughter is studying Macbeth for her Gcse and it's boring and quite different to her books.

    A Full-On, Blood and guts version of Macbeth

    This stands as a great 'battle' film - even without the Shakespearean content. The Bard's dialogue is used judiciously - I think to improve the flow of action and keep less-scholarly minds involved. If you're using it as an English lit exam cheat - don't you silly-sausages! A magnificent version of the play - full of grit, blood and fury. It doesn't look as if we (the UK) are worthy of Denzel's version - so until it arrives in some format - THIS is the beast to beat!
