    K&N oil filter for BMW F800GT

    From first appearances this oil filter looks like a quality product. From the thick lustrous paint to the sharp K&N stenciling and 17mm socket adapter nut for future removal. (Don't use it to install - hand tighten only! The seal is pre oiled, but I always dip a finger in the oil and give the seal a wipe.) It feels heavy duty, and I'm sure the thick canister walls will reduce the risk of stone chip corrosion causing a "burst" - This is what nearly happened to my OEM filter. Very pleased so far.
