I had been considering buying this espresso maker for some time now. I bought it along with the Barista kit to provide a double espresso to which I add hot water to make a delicious Americano. It has fulfilled all my expectations. I should done this earlier. Highly recommend f you want a ghreat espresso or a simple but strong Americano. What's not to like really.

Sure it's not as quick as putting a pod in a machine but it sure does make a nice coffee and it's better for the environment. My first experience of making a coffee with this thing was that it was straightforward and with a few more goes I can probably do it quicker. Not for people with weak wrists as the manual pump requires a little bit of effort. We made 2 black Americanos and it was quite possibly the best homemade coffee I've had! It'll make a great addition to our vanlife (when we start)!
