    Cult-ish classic sci-fi.

    If you like science fiction and horror this is a good combination of the two. It has fairly good effects and the dialogue isn't awful but it is missing some detail in places that make it less than clear what the story is actually about and the relationships between characters. The ending is a little cheesy, ok very cheesy, but it is fun getting there and look on the bright side, Kim Cattrall before sex in the city ruined her. Pacing is OK and the cinematography is adequate but the overall product is fun to watch and much better than many movies made to day and even has humor interjected without becoming campy. Rutger Hauer's performance is not as good as Blade Runner but he's watchable. The story line is odd at best but at least it's different than most horror sci-fi hybrids. The global ...
