When queen became famous
I remember going to see this tour in Glasgow in the winter of 1974. A concert that transformed my world. Up until that point it was easily the most exciting concert I had seen, with their incredible use of lighting and the dramatic nature of Queen in their full glam rock glory. This is the concert tour used to promote the album ‘Sheer Heart Attack’ and the (at the time) current hit single ‘Killer Queen’ .. made up of songs from the first three Queen albums along with some great 50’s rock n’ roll classics. A very high energy concert with Queen as close to being a full on rock band as they ever were. Even at this period they had such a huge sound and it soars from your speakers.. a highly recommended release, and without doubt the beginnings of the legend that became Queen.
