EACH BOOK NEEDED TO HAVE THE BINDING TAPED AS EACH BOOKS BINDING WAS COMING APART. MOSTLY IN THE FRONT BUT A FEW IN THE BACK. The condition of the binding was not disclosed to be honest with you. Other than the binding the books were fine. But I had to use wide clear plastic tape to solve the problem as I am not a binding expert or repair person.
