    extreme value!

    total bargain! Brand new HP dock, power supply works too, you just need an IEC C5 power cable. Got here quick. Has DP outputs, which if you get the right cable can convert to HDMI at 4k60. No USB-C sockets but adapters to normal size USB are 99p.

    Disappointing

    I bought this as a second docking station for my laptop so i could have one at home as well as at work, but i found that the slider button that connects it to the laptop didn't slide over as much as it does on my other docking station, which is the same model, just in much better condition. This causes it to either not connect at all, disconnect intermittently, or when it is connected it doesn't detect the second screen. So it was very disappointing and will be going in the bin. I wouldn't describe it as in good working order, and it didn't come with a power cable, so with the extra cost of that on top it would have been better to just buy a brand new one that you know will definitely work.

    Elite book Docking Station

    This is my second docking station as I have one at work and one at home. For me it is the best way to plug and play the laptop. No messing about plugging in cables every time I need to use the laptop. There are plenty ports for plugging in peripherals. It also has a socket for headphones or speakers and ability to plug in my monitor. A great tool for working at home.

    Perfect dock at a bargain price

    Excellent dock makes my home office so much more usable, connects in a second rather than plugging in several cables. Perfect condition and it was wrapped and packed superbly for delivery Note that as advertised there is no power adaptor. If you were hoping your existing HP laptop power supply will work, think again. Its a different connector size, but you can buy an adaptor. It also requires a higher power rating (60W compared to my laptop 45W supply). Mine works fine as I only have 1 monitor and a keyboard/mouse connected, but if you have many peripherals you might need the higher power.

    Home office setup

    Use docking station to allow me to easily swap between my own HP 840 G3 Elitebook laptop and work HP 850 G5 laptop. The dock has 2 HP display ports but using 2 adaptors to DVI easily drives 2 displays. Makes for a neat cabling setup in the office. You do need to get a power supply for the dock though which has a different size connector than that used on either of my laptops.
