ADDICTIVE. Unparalleled drama will leave you breathless.
In the past decade there have only been a handful of shows really worth watching. 24, Sopranos, Justified, Walking Dead, Lost, True Blood, Ghost Whisperer, Numbers and for me that's pretty much it. BREAKING BAD very easily makes it into my TOP FIVE, behind only Ghost Whisperer, 24, Justified and Walking Dead. YES, for me those are the ONLY BETTER SHOWS of the last 10 years or so. WALTER WHITE is one of the Most Intriguing characters ever. A high school chemistry teacher whose straight as an arrow until cancer shows up and turns his whole world upside down. He must have had ObamaCare because his Insurance is for CRAP, not willing to help him out. So the challenge is to (A) pay for treatment (B) leave his family out of debt and able to afford college. He has a son and a baby daughter on ... Did I mention his Brother-In-Law heads the local DEA office? Lots of fun family dinners ensue. You WILL sympathize with a METH COOKER. It's unavoidable. Even after he.......... well, you'll have to see it to believe it.

Unique, fitting title
A friend at work told me about watching this series on Netflix. He described it as one of the best shows he's ever watched. I wanted to see it for a long time and finally ordered season 1 to try it out. I was hooked right away. It's extremely engaging because storyline is cleverly written. You can't often tell what will happen next in a scene. Of course, I recommend it. Just think you should engage young children with other activities while you watch or wait 'til they go to sleep. It is meant for adults. A friend at work told me about watching this series on Netflix. He described it as one of the best shows he's ever watched. Breaking Bad
I saw a few episodes while at work and found it very interesting. The main character has real life problems that are indicative of today's society. The challenges of maintaining a quality of life in the face of rising social chaos really hits home. The choices made are ones many people world-wide are forced to make in order to feed and house their families. Breaking Bad is a very sad commentary on life in this millienum. It carries the disclaimer that it makes no refrence to real individuals but even at a quick glance any viewer with half a brain can identify someone in their inner circle as any if not all of the players in the series. We may dislike what is gojng on in the show but we understand the reasoning and logic that went into the series of bad decisions. The constant ... That outcome, is much like the decision very predictable and also very bad. Life and the crazy situations we are faced with can and often do, alter our characters and sometimes in ways we do not like, making our lives and the lives of those we love and hold so dear, a living nightmare.

breaking bad has never been so good.
A chemistry teacher is diagnosed with lung cancer. To help pay for his bills and provide for his family when he's gone, he decides to get into the meth trade. Should be easy, right? It's just simple chemistry, right? Well, Mr white is about to find out that breaking bad has never been so hard. This is a great show with plenty of laughs and just as many "whoa"s. It's a gritty look into the underbelly of the drug culture in todays america. The show follows the actions of a generally good man as he tries desperately tries to accomplish the impossible, do right while being wrong. It also shows the efforts of the DEA that is trying to stop these backyard cooks from destroying a generation. Each episode has it's own diffrent emotions and twists. The Equivalent of Drama-Crack
As with what would become my favorite thing on regular TV, 'Lost', I was fashionably late to the gathering that hovers around the newest cult hit, 'Breaking Bad'. Allow me to pause to kick myself a little... There. Bryan Cranston's 'Mr. White' is one of the most interesting and compelling characters to cross TV's desolate landscape in quite some time, and from AMC no less! The story of this high school chemistry teacher-turned meth-cooking drug squirrel with a bad dose of lung cancer sounded depressing when I first read it, but what a misconception--the show is crisp, original, fresh and funny and innovative all at once--as I am glued to the chair whenever it comes on now (and may I say God Bless the Inventor of DVR--if you're out there and read this, I owe you a six-pack, my friend). ... It's hard to draw a real comparison between this show and anything else, because I've really never seen anything like it on a weekly basis, and it remains one of the reigning Kings of the DVR. If you end up watching it, you may find yourself as hopelessly addicted as Mr. White and Jesse's customers.
