    Lots of 4U goodness without taking up too much space

    I was looking for a shorter 4U case to build a NAS in, and this more than fits the bill. It has plenty of HDD bays and great cooling, and I specifically like having the external 5.25" drive bay as I've put a fan controller in it. I know it's capable of bigger motherboards but it swallows up my mini-ITX and has loads of room inside for cable management and installing components. The case comes with fans, which whilst providing plenty of cooling are only powered by Molex - you may wish to do what I did and replace them with some controllable PWM fans.

    Excellent, This is the 4th of these case...

    Excellent, This is the 4th of these cases I've bought now and I'm very pleased with how easy they are to work with. Plenty of space for expansion. The fans although not variable speed (Molex power connectors rather than standard motherboard connections) are fairly quiet.
