About this product

Product Information

The only college football video game in the country returns to the high-def gridiron for the 2011-12 season. The goal of NCAA Football 12 is to present onscreen action that plays with on-field authenticity, and that looks like a Saturday afternoon broadcast in the heart of the season. Topping the list of the "2012" game's technical advancements is a new tackling system, which relies on momentum for realistic hits and take-downs. Dozens of real-world teams are available for play, including many hometown favorites and all of the Game-of-the-Week contenders, re-created with actual team names, uniform options, and playbooks. As in earlier editions of the annual offering, gamers can create custom players to add to their favorite team, or to guide through an entire collegiate career.

Gamers may also choose to draft and field the game's pre-designed fictional players, focusing instead on building a dynasty for their favorite team. Top schools enjoy traditional gameday celebrations as their squads take the home turf, including the University of Oklahoma's "Sooner Schooner" covered wagon and Georgia Tech's "Ramblin' Wreck" old-time automobile. Highlighting the game's graphical improvements, a new "high dynamic range" rendering process produces more realistic lighting effects. The process better accounts for the eye's natural adjustment to different levels of brightness, especially when playing in an afternoon field, half-covered by shadow, or in an artificially lit night game. Additional presentational upgrades include 3D-rendered grass on the field, higher-resolution crowds, new Nike-brand uniform options, and additional player-customization choices.

Good seller. Fast shipping! Could not see damage on disc in photos, but it did work as the description said it would. Downloaded to my hard drive no problem. Back up and playing at a very fair market price! Thank you!

Game was listed at a very fair price and arrived pretty quick. My girlfriend loves Mario party 3 and has been having a great time playing since it arrived. We bought the same game from another seller and it was defective, unfortunately it was a reproduction. I would highly recommend buying from this seller though.

    Absolutely Invrediy

NCAA 12 is a reminder of what football games used to be. Gameplay is smooth and fun, and you never feel robbed even if you lose. The Road to Glory and Dynasty modes are both immersive and feature-packed. The recruiting system is better than NCAA 14's, as you as a recruiter actually speak with high school athletes and gauge their interest in various parts of your program. The coaching carousel is also well made, and allows you to work your way up to the Offensive Coordinator of some backwoods school to the Head Coach of a Power 5 team. Graphics still look pretty good, even for today. Nothing super eye-popping but definitely very solid, and some of the animations even look better than today's Madden games. Over all, I love this game, and would highly recommend.

  • keeps getting better!! year by year, game by game!

i bought this product because the game has always been a favorite and the thrill of college football still excites me. the game keeps getting better and will continue to get better. don't like how they keep changing the kicking set ups. even though its easy to adapt, just would like them to pick one way and stick with it. also am still not a big fan of the auto-sprint. game i feel is better than madden, and we all know how many people like madden. overal game is more and more solid every year. must buy...eh but a fun buy.

  • Great football game. But be ready for loading screens!

The game by itself is very good if you enjoy football games. It is also great for online play. But...Dynasty Mode and Path to Glory still leave much to be desired. Dynasty Mode would be great if they could reduce the load times significantly. In any given season, you probably spend 20 minutes or more total, just simming week to week. Path to Glory could still use some improvements, and Console freezing runs rampant in this game.

  • Much better than '11, rent it at least to see for yourself.

Rented this game several times before I bought it here on Ebay. Love NCAA Football for real and this game is pretty close to the real deal. We have to be realistic, getting games to be as real as possible is hard but this game is dang near close. The new upgrades to stadiums, grass/turf, players, the integrated ESPN presentation makes it really feel like I'm watching a game on ESPN. The specialized team intros are a great upgrade seeing how teams actually come out to the field adds to the "real-life experience". The upgrades to defense to me have shown. LB's & Secondary playing zone and picking up crossing routes and men have been really good in my experience. Throwing deep cross routes or into zones has been a bit more of a challenge this year then in the past (and I've played every year ...
