    bit noisy but...

    must have a small fan inside. makes some noise but am now used to it. using it above kitty litter box. familiar with UVC light technology so have peace of mind knowing germs are being addressed as well as odors. i like the soft nite lite. was on special at nearly half off, wish they'd had two available.

    Just plug it in and it goes to work!

    Just take it out of the box and plug it in!! UV disinfection is definitely the way to go. I put 1 in each bedroom and 1 on each end of my large living room. After looking at every model, I chose these because they just plug into any standard electrical outlet, and you don't even notice them. I expected the larger, more expensive, corded models would make more noise, and I would have to find a place for them to sit. Something to think about before you choose a model. These plug-ins are quiet, but not totally noiseless. They do make a little humming noise, because they have a small fan, but it's only noticeable if the room is otherwise totally silent. If there is any kind of furniture between you and the purifier, they're totally inaudible. I would definitely buy these again.

    Eliminates odors in small rooms.

    This unit is made for a small area - the circulating fan is very small. It does seem to eliminate odors. Not sure how long the bulb and fan will last - so not really sure how much of a value it is. But it does eliminate odors.
