About this product
Product Information
In the intriguing novel The Pimp and the Preacher, former hustler Clyde Robinson learns the inner secrets of pimping the church and vows to expose its devious ministers. After spending more than twenty years behind bars, Clyde Robinson, otherwise known as Pretty Boy, is being released from prison. When asked what he is going to do when he gets out, Clyde informs his fellow inmates that his plan is to go back to the only game he knows, running women a.k.a. pimping . After much laughter, several inmates tell Clyde to update his game and get with the latest hustle. Clyde questions what that is and is told by another inmate that it is those five magical words that no one can contest, I've been called to preach. After reading The Pimp and the Preacher, one may ask if this is just a scandalous novel or if it is possibly true. The real question is Who's pimping who?

- s***s (2970)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseCondition excellent, as described, well packaged, dispatched promptly.Excellent communication from seller. Arrived ahead of anticipated delivery dates. ARRIVED 1st May, expectected between 24th May and 3rd June. Thank you. No import tax payable. A very pleasing experience. Would recommend this seller. A book l have been seeking to replace for 7 years after it got misplaced when moving house after bereavement.
- a***l (338)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseAlthough the description details were misleading, the customer support was rather good. I ordered the 2-volume set of ‘Atlas Shrugged’, but received a single volume. It might not seem like much to others, but it’s a large book and a 2-set volume would have made it easier to read. In addition, poor packaging damaged the DJ. Anyways, after sending firm, yet precise and polite emails, the situation was promptly resolved, hence the positive feedback; and, why I would buy again from the seller. 👍
- c***r (537)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseBook as specified, rapid delivery (from USA to UK), and a reasonable price for the book. Overall, my book arrived in "ok quality" packaging. A padded "book mailer" envelope was used. However, inside, there was no other protective packaging. One small point of constructive feedback: perhaps cardboard packaging could have been implemented, as a number of competing book sellers are now implementing cardboard packaging, especially for higher price books subject to international delivery.
