    Fascinating Peek into the Spanish Inquisition

    Goya is the character who much revolves about, though this story is more about the excesses of the Inquisition than it is a serious treatise on Goya's life and art. Still it is quite worthwhile, with a riveting performance by Natalie Portman.

    Not a "feel good" movie.

    It was delivered in a timely manner in good condition, but the story is difficult to watch. The film is well made, top notch acting, but the French Inquisition is a very dark piece of history most graphically illustrated in this film. It left me feeling nauseated, not likely I will ever watch it again.

    Very good movie!

    Actors were great. I bought it because I like Javier Bardem, but then got a history lesson about Goya, I now understand why so much of his work is so dark, it’s what life was like during his lifetime. Great performance by all, especially Natalie Portman. Great movie!

    Not compatible

    I cannot watch it. It is not compatible with my blue ray/dvd player. It did not say on case or in the ad it was not compatible for players in US. I know because I always check that before ordering. I found out after I received it and put in my player. So this was misleading.
