About this product
Product Information
STEM fun for smart tots! Meet Mia, Ava, Oli, and Seb: they're the four engaging characters created by Harriet Blackford to introduce very young children to STEM concepts. This simple story, enhanced by Mike Henson's humorous illustrations and fun-to-do experiments, makes a fascinating subject come alive for preschoolers. If the earth is round, why don't we all just fall off and float away? The answer is gravity, and budding scientists can find out how it works and why it's so important. AGES: 2 to 5 AUTHOR: Harriet Blackford is a school science technician who earned her degree in Zoology from the University of London where she worked in the zoology department. She has written many nonfiction books for children, including Tiger's Story and Elephant's Story for Boxer Books. Mike Henson grew up in South Africa and went on to study Visual Communication. He has been working in children's publishing ever since he graduated. He now lives by the sea in Hampshire, England, with his wife and two children.

Communication from the seller was prompt, polite, and helpful, with dispatch confirmed quickly. The parcel was securely packaged and arrived in excellent condition, ahead of the expected delivery date. Care was taken at every stage of the process. - h***i (37)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseThe seller kindly got in touch to say the book I ordered did not meet the quality advertised due to being found to be in a poor condition at the packing stage. Unfortuntely no replacement was available and would I like to pick a book of equivalent value from the marketplace - which I did. That book arrived safely and was in the condition advertised. I have used this seller many times before and I am grateful for their quality control decission, rather than send me a damaged book. Will use again.
