    Genuine Moen is worth the money

    I will make this brief. The after market valve cartridge sold by Ace is around $7.50. The aftermarket valve cartridge sold my Home Depot is around $10.00. I have tried two Ace cartridges. They either become too stiff to turn easily or they leak through the seal. I have tried one Home Depot cartridge. The O-Rings are too large to allow the valve to be installed in the faucet. The Moen valve works perfectly.

    Nicely priced moen cartridge

    I received this cartridge in a very timely manner. Sometimes it can be difficult to remove the old cartridge as they get stuck. I finally got the old cartridge out and in with the new. It works just like new, now. I am very pleased with it.

    This Moen 1224B faucet cartridge is a perfect OEM fit -- unlike any other after market part. This is the ONLY one that will properly fit the Moen faucet. Don't waste your time or money at the big box store. Get one of these OEM 1224B cartridges.
