    Missing Diamond production magic from original studio recordings

    Neil Diamond magically projects his amazing voice and energy into these recordings, most of which seemed to be live, or at different studio settings from his original works. As a slightly hearing-impaired individual, I greatly count on the music I hear matching my memory of the originals experienced, so that I can create the full bouquet of sound which captivated my admiration, decades ago. In this CD, I had to work to make sure I was enjoying a memory-match, as there are many instrumental differences from the original vinyl works. Will need to hunt for sources of the original studio tracks we so embraced from our radios.

    Sound was OK

    Played both discs today and upon opening the case it all but fell apart and one of the discs has a scratch across it. But, when playing them both the sound was OK and the scratch didn't seem to do any damage. Just bear in mind, you get what you pay for.
