    lightweight with great features

    the acting and actors that starred in the series was excellent from start to finish. but sometimes the finishing of a series was a lot to be desired I was waiting for something else to happen and it had finished.

    Not the 'Complete Series' as advertised

    Well written, good acting for the time of production and engaging storylines. However, if you are expecting the Complete series then you will be disappointed. This collection is of the 45 minute episodes only and lacks the first season of the initial half hour format. Though the brevity of the 30+ episodes and the quick fire solutions allow only momentary thrill they establish the man himself and his methods perfectly. Thankfully, due to the lock down, an industrious relative took to the Internet and located season one on an American public domain site. Now I have the Complete Collection of Danger Man and can put it next to my Prisoner DVDs.

    The original Super Spy

    Danger man, John Drake the spy before James Bond was realised on the big screen. This box set are the hour adventures..so not the complete set. Considering the production values of the time this is a qual;ity production. Included in the boxset are one feature length episode in colour, which is as good as Dr No (and on a TV budget). It is easy to see why Lew Grade ley McGougan make 'The Prisoner' which many regard as a direct sequel to this series. Included in the extras are some hilarious no PC adverts of the time..
