About this product
Product Information
Use Knockout.js to design and build dynamic client-side web applications that are extremely responsive and easy to maintain. This example-driven book shows you how to use this lightweight JavaScript framework and its Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) pattern. You'll learn how to build your own data bindings, extend the framework with reusable functions, and work with a server to enhance your client-side application with persistence. In the final chapter, you'll build a shopping cart to see how everything fits together. If you're a web developer with experience in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, you're ready for Knockout. Learn how to create a ViewModel Bind HTML data and attributes, and CSS classes and styles Understand data binding in Knockout's context hierarchy Use properties that change dynamically through user interaction Work with forms by using several different bindings Bind multiple ViewModels on a single page Extend or attach custom functions to observables Perform server-side interactions with jQuery Map a JavaScript object or apply JSON data to a new object

- s***s (2970)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseCondition excellent, as described, well packaged, dispatched promptly.Excellent communication from seller. Arrived ahead of anticipated delivery dates. ARRIVED 1st May, expectected between 24th May and 3rd June. Thank you. No import tax payable. A very pleasing experience. Would recommend this seller. A book l have been seeking to replace for 7 years after it got misplaced when moving house after bereavement.
- a***l (338)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseAlthough the description details were misleading, the customer support was rather good. I ordered the 2-volume set of ‘Atlas Shrugged’, but received a single volume. It might not seem like much to others, but it’s a large book and a 2-set volume would have made it easier to read. In addition, poor packaging damaged the DJ. Anyways, after sending firm, yet precise and polite emails, the situation was promptly resolved, hence the positive feedback; and, why I would buy again from the seller. 👍
- c***r (537)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseBook as specified, rapid delivery (from USA to UK), and a reasonable price for the book. Overall, my book arrived in "ok quality" packaging. A padded "book mailer" envelope was used. However, inside, there was no other protective packaging. One small point of constructive feedback: perhaps cardboard packaging could have been implemented, as a number of competing book sellers are now implementing cardboard packaging, especially for higher price books subject to international delivery.
