hi there today i am writing a review about the tv series msquad this was a great series shot in black and white starring lee marvin as lt frank ballinger a no nonsense chicago plainclothes cop his task is to root out organised crime and corruption from the streets of america in the late 1950s i liked this series and would give it 8/10 hope this helps you out on your next purchus thanks and all the best mark
THE AD FOR THE SERIES ADVISED IT HAD RE-DONE AND WAS A GREAT PRESENTATION...
HOWEVER, THE FIRST FEW MINUTES ARE NOT EASY TO SEE. BLURED, I GUESS. THERE NO CAPTIONS, WHICH ARE NEEDED DUE TO THE LACK OF MICS. IT WAS NOT WORTH THE MONEY.
Another great police series from the latter 1950's
Not syndicated since the 1960s & early 1970s it was a welcome sight to see these again on DVD. There have been some complaints by others about the quality but I found nothing wrong with it. These are not digitally remastered which so many expect now days. These are from the 1950's and not the 2000's. So be thankful that they are available at all. I highly recommend this set to a great TV detective show that ran from 1957 to 1960. Great dialogue and many familiar TV faces of the time. Lee Marvin took his work very seriously and gives great performances in this series.
