Synopsis"Riveting...Crackling...It really moves." WASHINGTON POST BOOK WORLD They were orphans, Chris and Saul--raised in a Philadelphia school for boys, bonded by friendship, and devoted to a mysterious man called Eliot. He visited them and brought them candy. He treated them like sons. He trained them to be assassins. Now he is trying desperately to have them killed. Spanning the globe, here is an astonishing novel of fierce loyalty and violent betrayal, of murders planned and coolly executed, of revenge bitterly, urgently desired.

  • Unrelenting action to the end

Terrific fast-moving special ops recommended by Jack Carr, the author of “True Believer” in a recent interview. David Morrell, the author of “The Brotherhood of the Rose” created Rambo in his earlier book “First Blood”. Timeless action!

  • An unappreciated classic!

This was one of the first spy novels I ever read. Stuck with me & had to have a copy(even old & faded). The story is great & the writing is as factual as you can get for spy-fiction. I also recommend the old mini-series with Robert Mitchum-but it's hard to find in region-1. Definitely recommended!
