This is working very well. I, the cook, am having to adjust my thinking for a new way to cook. Fish was great. I let my chicken go to long and it got dry. French fries are getting better after the 3rd try. Over cooked at first, 2nd time good outside not complete inside. 3rd try much improvement. Am having fun learning. Not worth for the money.

I love my Philips Air Fryer
It's so nice not to have to fry things in oil. Better for my diet too. I have made all kinds of foods in my Air Fryer, but the ones that work BEST are foods like sausage links, bacon, pizza rolls, etc. I have made Pork Chops (perfect) and chicken thighs as well as wings. All perfect. A little tip though, marinate the chicken first. And watch the internal temps. The air fryer cooks quickly and chicken only has to come to 165 (white meat) degrees to be done. Nice change from frying
I have only done french fries so far but they were great. I did them with and without oil. The ones without any oil were dry but just adding a tablespoon of oil made all the difference. They came out crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Just enough oil for the salt to stick. The best part was it didn't make the kitchen smell like a deep fryer for days. AIR FRYER
This is a great air fryer, and it makes great food easily with simple clean up. It's also quick for those days I don't want to be in the kitchen long. If I were to buy another, I would purchase a digital one. I'm not thrilled about the manual timer.

Excellent air fryer
The Viva 2 Turbostar is an excellent air fryer. I have cooked French fries, scallops, chicken thighs, quails and they all came out crispy, tender and moist. I did not even bother reading any cookbook. Operation is very simple, a thermostat and a timer. I do not have a small tray so I use aluminum foil wrap as a tray. Why I love my Philips Airfryer.
Just received my Philips Viva 2 Airfryer 2.0 and love it. So simple to use. Takes just a fraction of the time of regular ovens to cook foods I love. Much more healthy because I skip using oils.
