    We get what we pay for

    This spanner set is certainly as described , the finish is so far durable being polished and the sizes stamped into the steel before polishing. As to be expected however for such little money , the steel alloy isn’t the strongest so the spanner open ring ends are quite bulky to add strength. I’m happy to have a spare set , and great value for the size range , but they’ll be my also set … not my go to set . They were very inexpensive however so we get what we pay for . Would I recommend? Yes . If on a budget id rather these than an unpolished set as they are easier to clean and that’s important to me . Irrespective of cost , it’s good practice to wipe down your tools after use plus at the end of the day , if you’re not working in close quarters, they fit the appropriate size fasteners ...

    Excellent Weekenders...

    These spanners i bought for the shed for my motorcycle. The spanners i had were old rusted spanners so thought I treat myself. This spanner set is a good tinkering set for the odd job or weekend mechanic but not the professional mechanic. The cut at the ring end is at a funny angle, like they are stamped out after angle is set. The finish isn't bad, mine have rust pulling through already on both sets. Chrome isn't bad either but not the best as is the dressing grind of each spanner. These are worth their money definatly but don't expectt too much in finess, however they do their job perfectly.
