    Never Trust a Fed

Good book as always by CJ Box. Joe Pickett is tapped by Gov. Rulon to investigate the mass murders in Yellowstone National Park. Joe has been working on his father in law's ranch as foreman since he was fired as game warden from his previous job. Joe is honest and makes too many people nervous to say the least. Between himself, Nick, and Mary Beth they solve crimes in Wyoming and surrounding states. Nick Romaneski, ex-mercinary and close friend of the Pickett family, comes to Joe's aid only to be arrested by the FBI even after Joe made a deal with them. Joe uncovers the real reason for the deaths in the Park. Highly recommended.
