The postage is outrageous, not due to the price but to the fact that a house, at midday, with three very much awake people, were not alerted to the parcel. They didn't ring the bell, they did not use the knocker. They placed the very vibrantly packaged on the doorstep and then ran away, I assume to click Delivered on their work phone. Luckily I was online and it popped up as being delivered and I rescued the package. And it was Royal Mail. It was however wrapped in a ‘our sincere apologies , the enclosed item has reached you in this condition’ from Royal Mail. The £4.50 spent on an unreliable courier that failed to deliver the item in full, properly grates on me. I can’t tell you if anything is missing as there a so many individual pieces, which would be difficult for the seller to itemise. Happy with this honest seller, courier companies, not happy at all.

The seller contacted me with the extra charges which were very reasonable. The lamp arrived brilliantly wrapped and the shade was sent separately (also very well wrapped.
