This follow-up to 2006's Avatar: The Last Airbender continues the martial arts exploits of Aang, Katara, Haru, and Sokka in their attempt to save Earth Kingdom from the dreaded Fire Nation. As in the original game, the action is primarily viewed from an isometric viewpoint as players use each cel-shaded character's special techniques and proficiency in different schools of elemental magic to pummel groups of enemies. Light role-playing features include attack upgrades, new equipment, and an assortment of side quests and puzzles to complete. The Burning Earth introduces the option to team-up with a friend for cooperative action, or players can test their fighting prowess in the new arena combat mode. Joining the list of playable characters are Toph and Jet, while Aang's animal companions Momo and Appa are featured in distinct flying levels.

    Initial item price was good but that was about it. For almost $7 bucks shipping using a box would have been appreciated instead of a wrinkled up plastic mailer. The combination of newspaper, oversized bubble wrap, and rubber bands completely mixed together weren’t the ideal packing material for hot wheels either. Both items arrived damaged beyond what they were shown in description. Pretty unsatisfied.

    Slightly different from how i remember

    Playing this game brought back so many memories. I never really paid attention to the graphics, so i didn’t realize how weird it would look on a flatscreen. There’s a few glitches in the game where characters don’t move their mouth when talking, but i don’t know if that has to deal with the disc itself. Otherwise, grateful to own the game.

    Heads up,

    There's no holding back in this action game. Great cut-scenes come along and add more depth to the story. You will never let up on the remote control. It's a marvelous game!

    Burning earth

    The kids like it. We have an older ps2 and the kids like the series Avatar The Last Airbender so the were excited about playing the game. The graphics is typical ps2. Can't say much about the game itself because I haven't played it. The graphics are better in this one the Burning Earth than the Last Airbender, the first game.
