      Beautifully packaged set of beautiful transfers of beautiful films, with beautiful special features.

      Prodigious pesto! Magnificent marinara! Glorious ghee! Best of Garbo talkies and a few classic silents. Extras, docs, and good transfers make this set a must-have for any classic film fan. Best of all is "Settling the Score," a documentary about the Young Film Composers competition finalists and their being mentored in the scoring process by the great Elmer Bernstein. You won't vant to be alone for this one!

      Good selection--esp. Brownlow documentary

      Ends up cheaper to get the box set. I mean you get the touted "Garbo talks" and "Garbo laughs" films. Plus the beautiful "Camille" etc.. Including the Brownlow bio and silents is a nice bonus.
