Plane was shipped in a heavily taped corrugated cardboard carton wrapped in very thick paper, also covered in shipping tape. Carton was well-packed with newsprint. The wooden box holding the plane was wrapped in paper toweling. Plane inside the box was padded with just 3 paper napkins which allowed it to become tightly jammed inside the box. The plane did arrive completely undamaged.
