Van Halen at their best.
In my opinion the best Van Halen live album. Wish I was there to witness this show or there was a DVD of it. The band is in top form performing all the classic David Lee Roth era songs. Roth's vocals are a little weak at times but Edward's guitar playing more than compensates. Wolfgang's bass playing and Alex's drumming is straight on. legendary show! i dont even like van halen & the lightest music i go is black sabbath! but... this show is incredible! if you want clean perfect singing & baby-like softer clean music this aint for you. this is over the top van halen at their most extreme! rough, loud, raw, insane singing & playing. eddie shredding like crazy with all kinds of extreme fx & feedback. bass & drums heavy & blownout deep like you never hear on a live album. david's vox are unreal - cleaner at times, talkative at times but with amazing psychedelic like rantings - yeah this is the stuff you usually only get in underground music. go extreme - or - stay home.
