This will work with both Af-s (built in motor) and AF-d lenses, so can be used with all Nikon AF DSLR cameras. As with all teleconverters it will only autofocus with lenses faster than F4, so it can not be used in autofocus with slower zoom lenses eg 70-300mm F4-5.6, it can though be used in manual focus with such lenses. Note: The following lenses will only work in manual focus: AF-S Micro Nikkor 60mm f2.8 AF-s Nikkor 14-24mm f2.8 AF-s Nikkor 24-70mm F2.8.

Best converter I found in 30 years
I have tried to use teleconverters for 30 years but the results have been unsatisfactory. this one with its 5 element lens works great. I use it with a 300mm f4 at f4 and its very sharp. ( the lens needs to be sharp in the first place) A bad lens on a camera without fine focus adjust is a disaster. Beware the Kenko MC4 units which only have a 4 element multi coated lens ..bad.

Good piece of glass , runs smoothly
Works smoothly with the lenses I have tried. Good sharpness, I can't compare to the expensive Nikon brand teleconverter , but it has given me better reach with no degradation in quality. I cannot say for higher end glass, larger apertures or higher resolution sensors if it will make a difference, so take with a grain of salt.

Good value teleconverter for those on a budget!
Kendo 1.4 teleconverter for use with Nikon Camera. Read a lot about different makes of tele converters and decided for the price I would get one of the smaller 1.4 ratio versions as using on a crop sensor bodied camera and my trusty 200-500mm f5.6 lens. Only used it once so far and all seems well and no issues. Gives me the added distance I required for photographing owls and wildlife, thus the reason for buying.
