    Dark shadows- early television like you have never seen before !

    This is a story of Collinwood in the state of Maine. It was a soap opera that started in 1966. Only this soap opera is about the hauntings, witches, vampires, and even a werewolf in the Collins family. As a kid , I would race home from school to watch it. I was fascinated with such a show that would appeal to many different ages. As i grew a little older I began to miss episodes with other activities. Recently my interest came back to Dark Shadows. So, I bought this set. Which contains every episode. 1245 in all. Contained in 131 dvd discs. Created by Dan Curtis. Who brought us other shows such as Kolchak the night stalker.     Sink Your Teeth Into The Original American Gothic Vampire Series, Leave Satisfied!

    After spending the last seven months watching the classic B&W/Color American Gothic Horror Soap Opera "Dark Shadows," I just had to own it! I thought, my first time watching the series, I'd be done and move on, but I'm hooked! I love the original "Dark Shadows," and purchasing this collection that comes in a large coffin box (large enough to accommodate all 131 disks) was satisfying. I look forward to working my way through this collection, with all the extras, but I suspect that will take me at least another year! Their wasn't much technology as their is today. Today you can just download it on your phone 📱 and watch it. I prefer keeping copies of movies on blue ray and dvds for just in case.     A spooky show best watched after dark.

    I've never purchased such a massive collection of DVD's for one TV series (128) with over 1200 episodes. The show aired 5 days a week for 5 years. It comes with a program guide listing every episode and the special features included. I haven't watched the show for 50 years so I'm just remembering the various characters but I remember being glued to the TV when I came home from school watching the episodes on ABC. It is a great show to watch with Halloween approaching.
