Publisher Activision drives demolition derby-style across multiple consoles with the 2011 release of Monster Jam: Path of Destruction. As in earlier Monster Jam games, the focus is on highly destructive races in specially modified trucks, through arena courses strewn with mud pits, barricades, and other vehicles. Players can create their own trucks, or climb behind the virtual wheel of one of 30 real-life monsters including Grave Digger, Maximum Destruction, and Grinder. The crash-and-smash racing plays out in eight official Monster Jam venues, which feature special vehicle introductions, fireworks, and roaring crowds. Trucks can be custom-upgraded as the player progresses through the game to the World Finals. A head-to-head multiplayer mode is also available.

    Fun Game - A Little Advanced for Younger Children

    I bought this game for my son for Christmas. We just started playing it, and while the graphics and sound are good, the play control is pretty challenging for a 5 year old boy. I'm no video game wizard, but I'd like to think that I'm an average player. The controls are even pretty tough for me. In race mode, just keeping your truck on the track is challenge. I just wish that they maybe had a novice mode so that my son wouldn't have such a hard time with the game.

    not that great

    i feel they could of done better. the controls are very sensitive and even on easy some tasks are difficult. i am very disappointed with the build you own truck part of the game. your customization is limited and not very good variety or quality. the truck styles are great and thats about it. the actual game play is fun but as i mentioned before some tasks are difficult even on easy. to me this a slip backwards from the ps2 games even though it does have updated content. if you are looking to buy this i say buy at your own risk because to me its not worth the money unless you really like the game series.
