      Paint thickness meter

      Having sold a car to a certain "we buy......." etc I was shocked (and somewhat annoyed!) to discover that my car had been sprayed on two doors... this was highlighted by the buyer producing one if these paint thickness gauges...! So now that I have one I can be as critical about my future purchases! It does make you investigate closer if you have any doubts about thicker paint (or even filler!) Well worth it for a tenner!

      It works

      Bit flimsy feeling, it's lasted 2 weeks so far but 2 years warranty is ok if it's real. It's been 100% accurate for my usage, and can spot things i can't and I've been looking a bad paint for a few years now. Much easier and quicker than the bulky digital gauges.
