I have been in construction for 35 years and have used all the tools berween black and Decker and festool. I just got this makita to use along with my Panasonic impact drill. When I do kitchen installs I use two impact drills and two regular drills. Some may think hm Panasonic? Yeah they make a heavy duty line of drills too. The Makita is right up there with my others if not even passing them in comfort. Makita is really nice and small with a short motor which allows you to get in tighter positions, feels good in hand, runs smooth with smoother impacts but still has the power to drive any lenght of screw.. I love it and wasn't surprised at all. I have always been a fan from the beginning. I rember the first cordless they came out with the 9 volt battery, it was still short but had a long handle for the stick battery. We have come a long way. If you're trying to decide between dewalt, Milwaukee, and Makita? Its a no brainer for me. Milwaukee is made in china but still better than dewalt which is on the bottom. Dewalt makes good miter saw , that's about it. I can go on and on , I live and breathe power tools. Its my life. Makita all the way. Some of their stuff is made in china its still better than most but I try to stay away from the china stuff. Wish they would keep making all their tools in Japan.Read full review
