    Ideal but better illustrations to aid selection required

    The valve is the correct replacement for a failed one, so it works as intended. Being black, the ad. illustrating it was rather indistinct, so it was difficult to ensure that the product was the correct choice : better lit and more pictures would have helped, as well as dimensioned outline drawings. The product proved to be suitable, though difficult to fit in the particular appliance.

    Doesn't fit the red plastic washer very well

    It's too loose a fit inside the red plastic washer, meaning it won't re-fil automatically, only dripping. It does shut off when full though, so not all bad, but takes 3/4 hour to fill.

    I bought this as a replacement for the old style washer which has ridges on it, this washer does not work for this unfortunately. I'm sure it's fine for newer types.
