If you can afford to purchase a proper telephoto lens then I highly recommend you do so as this lens does not have the highest quality glass. When taking photos there is a slight outline of blue and red which is caused by improper refraction of light. Essentially photos lose quality. Also you will have to use manual mode on DSLR as the AF does not compensate for the zoom.
