Item as described I bought 12 altogether (£80 worth) Each one comes in it’s own box but the overall cardboard box packaging was very poor ,cheap and flimsy. The box was ripped on receipt and I had to check none were missing. Given the amount of money spent I would have expected better.

Disgusting customer service. Sent me an item that was clearly already damaged and had been glued. This then had snapped off again by the time it got to me. Tried to contact for a replacement piece or refund and was ignored twice so I eventually made a case with ebay to get my refund. Do not buy from these people as you will be ignored and not treated like a paying customer.

The item arrived super quick so would recommend the seller… HOWEVER…. despite me measuring the diameter of the gasket to fit a 2 cup they were too small. Whether this was just my stupidity or the sizes on the advert were incorrect I will never know. Not worth returning as postage costs e/w work out more than the article itself. So I’m stuck with an item of no use and will have to spend further money to obtain the correct size. ! Picture shows my gasket size at top .

    Give it a Chance

    This unknown in the UK brand, Severin, is German. It is used by a major supplier of products to the hospitality trade. Since I had been disappointed by a well-known British brand previously, why not give the Germans, with their reputation for high quality engineering, a chance? Hasn't disappointed so far. Two year guarantee.

    Not suitable for hand made, or bread maker bread.

    I bought it as a single, long slot toaster. The problem is that it is not designed for bread other than standard loaf sized slices. I make my own bread, both by hand, and using a Panasonic bread maker. I can't get two slices in at the same time, as well as slots also not being deep enough, so that the top of slice remains untoasted. This defeats the object of having a long slot toaster.

    An excellent replacement

    Had a similar toaster for over 17 years so decided to go for the same again.Usually the newer ones are not as good but this seems to be much better so far gives much more even browning of the toast.Hope it lasts as long!!!

    too small no good look elsewhere

    no good for uk. bread the sticks out and not toasted cant turn sideways two slices wont fit, only good for very small square bread which i dont eat used once wont use again waste of money
