      WEN Oscillating Spindle Sander

      First sander of this type that I've owned. Put it to use immediately and it is quiet, powerful, and easy to use. Changing sanding drums is a snap, and the different sizes make it easy to sand any interior or exterior curve or straight line. What a time saver!

      Excellent work saver!

      Easy to set up. Easy to get out of box and well protected for shipping. I was making some special shaped feet for a small cabinet. The first one took over an hour and a half to sand. After the 6510 got set up I finished the last three in one hour. It made it so only some final hand sanding in inside corners was necessary. Although the dust port is larger than my small vac it connected easily to my dust collector using the Rockler flex hose with adapters for palm sanders and miter saws and the 6510 is tight enough that all the dust gets collected.

      nice platform size

      This product has been great for what i bought it for. Making viking table with curves in legs. It has cut down time of sanding greatly. Nice and fast speed for the spindle. If you get one of these make sure you get an eraser to keep it from clogging up with sap or glue.

      Excellent value for the small home wood shop!

      I make electric guitars but I'm just getting started so I'm not producing large quantities. This sander does everything I need without breaking the bank. I can finish the contours of a rough cut body blank in minutes without having to do lots of tedious, time consuming, hand sanding. The quality is great. I'm very pleased with this unit and I would recommend to others or buy another if this one ever needs replacement.

      benchtop machine that works as well as some floor models.

      Mor quiet than some of the competetive models. Removes material quickly. Cast iron top. Washers are the correct size for the sanding drum, no need to grind them down. Has a slightly longer stroke than some of the others as well. Have used it on plywood, pine and oak so far and am pleased with the results.
