My tablet arrived one day after ordering so I was impressed already. You honestly wouldn’t know it was a refurb but for some stickers on the box and a ratty photocopied instruction leaflet – the tablet itself was immaculate with no marks or scratches. I would caution against installing too much before you have done all the system updates: mine updated out of the box which I was expecting, but a few hours later it updated again to Marshmallow and deleted everything (and I mean everything). Now this wasn’t a big problem as I’d barely installed anything, and I ended up with a more up-to-date operating system than I was expecting, but just be aware before you go loading it up with apps and data. The best part of this tablet is the screen. A lot of the cheaper tablets are 600 or 800 pixels high, the 1200 pixels on this make it superb. Colours are great, not oversaturated like a lot of Samsungs or washed out like the cheapies. Sound is good but not great. It's certainly acceptable for playing games or watching videos, but if the Dolby logo leads you to expect cinematic sound then you’ll be disappointed. At full volume there’s a tiny bit of distortion, but it’s loud enough for most uses well below that. Battery life has been surprisingly good for such a big bright screen. I’ve been using mine for a couple of weeks and it easily lasts a day of reasonable use. Charging can be a bit slow even with the supplied charger, so it’s an overnight job. Performance is better than I expected at the price. Most apps run smoothly, I’ve had Word and Excel editing huge documents without trouble, and Maps working effortlessly. Games run reasonably but I did notice some stuttering on my snooker app when a lot of balls move rapidly at once. Overall I’m extremely happy with this tablet. Yes there are faster ones on the market but you’d have to spend a lot more money. I’ve had ~£50 budget tablets before and this is simply in a different league, and well worth the money.Read full review

I've purchased a few of these tablets for family as gifts as I was really impressed with it. It has a large screen which is really good quality, the processing speed is not brilliant but good, especially for this value and the build quality is good too. You can upgrade the OS as well as add a SD card to increase the memory size. So overall, a great tablet for the price.

First off, please do not compare this tablet with an ipad or high end android device. I have a high end laptop, a macbook, an iphone and the samsung galaxy s8 so this tablet fits the bill perfectly for me as i can also use it to create apps and templates for work. This tablet is definitely fit for purpose if you are watching films on the device or online, browsing the web, reading books, playing games such as bubble witch, tetris, roll the ball, mahjong, etc Higher resolution games which demands a considerable amount of onboard memory and storage to run won't be as smooth to run as a laptop with 8gb ram, dedicated graphics card and 1tb internal hdd. As for the 16gb internal memory, I am quite satisfied with it as I have a 64gb sdcard and cloud storage so I save to the card which is easily accessible. The graphics are impressive as well as the sound - whether you are using the backward facing speaker enhanced by Dolby app or headphones. I have read the reviews about how distorted and bad the volume is but it is fine. I sometimes wonder if these are the type of people that blare loud music indoors and their neighbours can't get any peace and quiet.Read full review

I brought this as a upgrade to my 4 year old tablet. Set-up was quite easy and it everything you would expect from a Android tablet. However the big different is the display, which is so much better than my old tablet.

The tablet Lenovo Tab 2 is excellent workhorse, WiFi connection is fast, ood quality full hd screen, relatively good quality cameras ( 5mp and 8 MP) comparing with another models. It is reasonably light weight. The only downside for me the back side of it made from thin plastic and creak when you hold it sometime. I also have Tab 3 which has more solid plastic body but losing competition to Tab 2 because less quality screen, much worse cameras .
