*season spoilers* What can I say about season 7? It started with a bang, picking up right where season 6 left off. It had some serious promise. Unfortunately, god Cass didn't last long and what were were left with is the Leviathans. The Levis were an interesting concept and there was a lot of potential there. Their goals were different than the usual 'trying to destroy the world' stuff that we're used to and I thought it was an interesting premise. Unfortunately, the execution left a lot to be desired and the main story suffered. The bad pacing with some bad episodes and some bad side stories (like the story ignoring past seasons and making Dean pull a 180 and doing something to cause a rift between he and Sam *again* to cause some forced tension) makes it one of the weakest seasons. The good thing though is that this is Supernatural, which means that even a weak season is better than a lot of current tv shows out there. It's watchable and enjoyable. Just don't expect it to be season 4/5 caliber (and even 6, which I thought was pretty good).Read full review
By far one of the best shows of the 21st century. Characters are engaging and there is something in it for everyone. Even better now that it’s all on Blu-Ray.
