Seasoning very important.
Received the wok this morning, i was expecting it to have a protective coat, which it did. If you spend time seasoning your wok correctly you will have a perfect cooking wok. It took me an hour as my domestic cookee doesnt have a furnace like burners you see on youtube. I gave the wok a very good clean, its best to do it when tge wok is very hot, i heated the wok as much as i could on tge hob the added tge veg oil, not olive oil. I seasoned it untill there was no smoke coming off the wok, rubbing it in a circular fashion all around tge inside. Then i turned the wok upside down rubbed oil all over the outside, i then left it upside down with the burner on full, i turned my oven on full, put the wok in for an hour. I love my wok it cooks beutifully, they can take time to get used to, but well worth the effort.
