Police Quest: SWAT 2 is the sixth game of the Police Quest series and the direct sequel to Police Quest: SWAT, a title that sold over half a million copies. The game features real-time action is based on correct and authentic police procedures.
Perspective in Police Quest: SWAT 2 is from an isometric, third-person viewpoint and multiplayer action is supported over modem, network or the Internet (up to four players). The game contains 30 missions, all based on actual Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) cases. You can choose to lead either a terrorist group or a Special Weapons and Tactics team, each with over 100 possible team members from which to choose.
The game features in-game hints by Daryl F. Gates, the originator of SWAT teams and an ex-LAPD Chief. As an adjunct to the 30 missions included with the game, a built-in map editor is provided for user-designed scenarios.
