      Almost 5 Stars

      Do not be alarmed when lifting up the package. They reduced the size of the magnets which shed about 70% of the previous weight of polk 6x9. You will need at least 100 watts RMS with a clean signal to appreciate the sound. IMHO comparing to the DB I think the MM has less bass response than the DB. I have plenty of sealed air space in cabinets I built and they still don't hit with the bass like the DB series. Also I do not like the grill covers as they expose part of the speaker. I like my speakers protected. Critters can claw at the rubber surround. If you have field mice like where I am up north in NY this can be a problem. IMHO a smaller magnet might be the culprit of less bass response however they are by no means lacking in any other way as far as sound quality. If you are a biker and ...
