    Finally getting my dry skin under control with this product after a long period of frustration.

    I've been having problems with flaky dry skin on my face for months. I'm not much of a moisturizer or lotion person, but it got to the point where I had to start trying to sort this out. I only tried a few different things: a couple of types of body lotion, face wash, face moisturizer from the makeup section. Nothing was working, so I researched on Ebay briefly and chose this product due to the high amount of positive feedback. I'm glad I did because it seems to be working. Nothing worked at all before and this is slowly fixing it completely and isn't heavy or oily. I HATE the feeling of lotion and the feeling always seems to linger even when I wash my hands thoroughly. This feels a lot different though. It still feels like lotion, but it's not so icky feeling, it sinks in fast, and it ...

    Plastic feel

    This product was recommended by a dermatologist to treat very dry, itchy skin on my back. I used it for a couple of weeks and it did not improve my condition, perhaps even making it somewhat worse. Then I realized it doesn't wash off in the shower -- at all. It took several days of not using it and scrubbing the affected areas under hot water to remove the feel of a film of plastic on my skin. Now I'm using coconut butter which is more difficult to spread on my back, but the itching is subsiding. Would not recommend -- there are many other more natural products that work far better and don't leave a strange, difficult to remove film behind.

    Excellent value

    I purchased a 16 oz. jar to use during the winter months (when my skin is particularly dry) . . . and now use it year-round! As per the above title line: excellent value for the money . . . but I recommend going easy on the amount applied to the skin. (The cream can feel a bit "greasy" if applied too liberally; in this case, less is more!)

    Has really helped with my old dry skin; scaling, rash and sensitive hands. Does not leave hands oily and is absorbed quickly. For men nice as it has a very slight but pleasant odor. Not perfumed! It does not require much for an application so looks to be economical even though price per container is higher than store and big named brands

    Best cream for atopic dermatitis

    CeraVe is the best ointment I have ever used in my life for atopic dermatitis, which is an irritative skin disorder. It can be applied liberally, as needed, whenever needed, and it can be used even while pregnant or lactating. It also works well for my children who apparently inherited my skin problem. It is a pity it is not sold in Europe, good for me that it is still accessible via eBay.
